Hi, I’m Josh! I’m an elementary school teacher in New York City. When I’m not teaching the babies how to read, you can probably find me in the clearance section of Bloomingdales, at the theater, at Central Park with my two (rescued) pups Hans and Lily.  All while obsessing over The Golden Girls and Dolly Parton.


I’m not a food blogger but this BOI knows his way around the kitchen.

Cooking has always been a passion of mine. I think it is a great way to show someone you love them, and it also happens to be a huge de-stresser for me. People love to ask me what I cook – and I tell ‘em I cook everything. I’m from Tennessee and I can and LOVE to cook southern all the southern staples – pinto beans, greens, cornbread, the list goes on. My Italian Stallion boyfriend, Vincent, has taught me to make pasta and some great Italian dishes. I also am a bad and boujee cook, who can emulate Martha and Ina’s finest moments, and I am currently experimenting with Korean, Vietnamese, Chinese, and Thai food!
