if buying fresh pressed juice is burning a whole in your budget, then this article is for you. with just a few green fruits and veggies PLUS a good amount of water you can make make your own green juice at home.
1 green apple
2 sticks of celery
1/2 cup fresh spinach
1/2 cucumber
1/2 lime (squeezed into the blender)
3 cups of water
blender
1 strainer bag: coldbrew or nut milk bag
chop fruits and veggies
add to blender (the lime is squeezed into the blender, you will not be blending the entire lime)
blend for 1-2 minutes
add in water and blend until fully mixed (about 5-7 minutes)
strain blended mixer through the strainer bag - the entire mixture will most likely not fit into the bag at once, so you may have to strain the mixture 2-3 times
once strained it's ready to drink!
double the batch and store in the fridge for 2-3 days.
